About Maria
I'm a graduate in International Human Rights Law. I'm originally from Girona, just an hour away from Barcelona. I came to study my master's in Ireland in 2021 and I stayed because I love Galway, and I love living the international experience. Besides my teaching experience, I've also supported the reception and wellbeing of refugees in Greece and Ireland, and I've worked as an advocacy campaign organiser.

Hola! I have two years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I've worked as a Spanish teacher to adults at Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre, and I've offered grinds sessions to students at the University of Galway preparing for exams.
Whether you're a complete beginner or you need help improving your level to achieve specific goals, you can count on me!
My lessons typically last 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on our availability and goals. We'll focus on grammar, vocabulary or communication skills, depending on your needs.
As someone who's learnt English, French and Chinese as foreign languages, I can understand the fear of learning a new language. This is why I like to prioritise my students' needs, and incorporate some cultural immersion into Spanish culture to keep you motivated!
