About Maria

Hello! I'm an 11th-grade student from Guatemala and a native Spanish speaker who is also fluent in English. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping others understand concepts in a clear and encouraging way. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to each person's needs and learning style. As a hardworking, patient, and dedicated tutor, my goal is not only to help students improve their Spanish but also to build their confidence and help them become the best learners they can be. I strive to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing with every lesson.

About the lesson

As a native Spanish speaker fluent in English, I help high school students build confidence in Spanish through clear, engaging, and personalized lessons. I adapt each class to your level and learning goals, whether you need help with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, homework, or exam preparation. My lessons combine explanations, interactive activities, real-life conversations, and practice exercises to make learning enjoyable and effective. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving their Spanish step by step.

I know Maria from school, and she trains with me. I see her as a role model and someone I can always count on, who will help me grow. I admire how she is always understanding, has a wide comprehension in diverse subjects, and strongly possesses discipline. Throughout this year, Maria has helped me with my schoolwork, studying habits, and supported me by guiding me on what courses I will take next year.
