Hi, I’m Patricia, a native Spanish speaker from Bogotá, Colombia, and a bilingual professional with experience working with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Whether you are starting from the beginning or want to become more confident speaking Spanish, I create a comfortable environment where you can practice without fear of making mistakes. About the lesson

My approach to teaching Spanish is practical, personalized, and focused on helping students feel comfortable using the language in real life. As a native Spanish speaker from Bogotá, Colombia, I teach authentic Spanish while adapting each lesson to the student's level, goals, interests, and learning style.

I believe the best way to learn a language is to actively use it. My lessons combine conversation, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar naturally rather than relying only on memorization. I encourage students to speak from the beginning, while providing gentle corrections and explanations that help them understand not only what is correct, but why.

A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or warm-up to practice previously learned material. We then introduce a new topic, vocabulary, or language structure through practical examples. The majority of the lesson is spent applying what we learn through conversation, questions, role-playing, reading, or real-life situations. We finish by reviewing key takeaways and identifying what the student can practice before the next lesson.

What sets me apart is my ability to make learning feel natural and approachable. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, so I can clearly explain concepts when a student needs support in English while keeping Spanish at the center of the experience. As someone who grew up speaking Spanish in Bogotá, I can also share authentic expressions, pronunciation, cultural context, and the way Spanish is actually used in everyday conversations.

My lessons are ideal for beginners, intermediate learners, adults, children, students who want to improve their conversational skills, and anyone looking to become more confident speaking Spanish. I can also adapt lessons for students who already understand Spanish but want to improve their pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, or ability to have natural conversations.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel that Spanish is something they can actually use—not just a subject they have to study.
