About Susana
I am a 51-year-old native of Peru, where I spent most of my life before moving to Virginia a year ago with my two children to join my husband, an American citizen. I have a background in business administration and over 20 years of experience in customer service. I also own a restaurant in Peru, which enriched my professional journey. Now, I am excited to pursue a new path in teaching and would love to share my native language, Spanish, with students to help them achieve their language goals.

As a native Spanish speaker, my teaching method would focus on practical communication, helping students gain confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding everyday conversations. I would adapt my lessons to each student's needs, using a mix of interactive exercises, grammar explanations, and real-life scenarios. A typical lesson plan would include vocabulary building, grammar practice, and conversation, all designed to be engaging and adaptable to the student’s level. While I am new to teaching, I have the ability to make learning enjoyable. My lessons would be suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, whether they want to improve for travel, work, or personal enrichment.
