About Nataly

I was born and raised half of my life in Lima, Peru. Since I was little my grandmother used to teach me a few words of the language of our ancestors. Even though, I did not understand what she was trying to say, she definitely got my interest in exploring more ways of communicating with others and to explore new worlds. Later, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics at the San Martin de Porres University of Peru.

The other half of my life, I lived in Nagoya, Japan. Here is where my professional life developed, and where my career for teaching began. During the fifteen years of Living in Japan, I also learned Portuguese and Japanese fluently.

I love speaking and teaching languages because I believe in the powerful benefits that can bring throughout one’s life. A second language allows us to see the world through different lenses, helps us approach daily problems with a new set of ideas, and we get to develop cross- cultural social and emotional skills.

About the lesson

I completed a TESOL training and certification program that provided me with the knowledge to create lesson plans for kids and adults. I have three and a half years of experience teaching Spanish and English to children ages 0-12, young adults 14-16 and adults 19-70.
