About Gloria

Hello, my name is Gloria. I am 26 years old and from Andalusia, Spain, and I am really excited to start learning together with you.

One of the reasons I enjoy teaching is because of my experience working with children. Seeing someone gradually gain confidence, improve their skills and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding, and it showed me how meaningful learning can be when the right support is provided.

I have also been fortunate to travel to many different countries, and those experiences taught me how important languages are for connecting with people and cultures. One of the most enjoyable parts of travelling is learning about the place you are visiting, picking up new words and expressions, and discovering how people live, think and communicate.

Living in Andalusia, a region that welcomes visitors from all over the world, has given me many opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds. I love sharing the many fascinating aspects of Spanish culture, from its food and music to its traditions, way of life and, of course, the language itself.

About the lesson

Hello! I am a native Spanish speaker from sunny Andalusia with experience working with children in educational environments. I am a patient and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and make steady progress in their language learning.

I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I adapt my lessons to each individual's needs, goals and interests. For younger learners, I can provide structured lessons focused on grammar, vocabulary, academic development and achieving school-related objectives, while maintaining a positive and encouraging learning environment.

For adults and independent learners, lessons can be tailored to specific goals, whether that means improving conversational skills, preparing for travel, developing professional communication, gaining confidence in everyday situations or deepening understanding of Spanish grammar.

In addition to language learning, I enjoy sharing the rich culture of Spain. Understanding the traditions, customs and everyday life behind the language can make learning more meaningful and enjoyable. My aim is to help students not only improve their Spanish, but also gain a deeper appreciation of the culture that surrounds it.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions of up to 90 minutes can be arranged when needed. My teaching approach combines structure and flexibility, adapting to each student's objectives, learning pace and interests. Depending on the student's needs, lessons may focus on grammar, writing and academic development, or on conversation, fluency and practical communication skills.

I hold higher education qualifications in Spain and have experience working in educational inclusion projects within schools. As part of this work, I supported children through activities focused on writing, communication, language development and self-expression. This experience has helped me develop patience, adaptability and an understanding of different learning styles.

Lessons are available for a wide range of learners, from young children (approximately 7 years old and above) taking their first steps in Spanish, to teenagers and adults at beginner, intermediate or advanced levels.
