About Clara
Hi!
My name is Clara and I am a native Spanish speaker (I am from Spain). I have a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpreting (EN/FR>ES) and I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Translation. In 2021-2022 I studied at the University of East Anglia, in Norwich, England. Furthermore, I love languages and learning about different cultures.
During lessons, I aim for English speakers to learn Spanish in a dynamic way, so that they can make the most out of every lesson and have fun at the same time. I do not think memorizing is the best way to learn a language, therefore I opt for a conversational teaching method, where oral communication is key to develop knowledge. Of course, the lessons are adapted to the level of Spanish of each student, as well as to the specific exam they want to take in order to get a language certificate if that is the case.
My goal is for everyone, no matter their specific circumstances, to learn Spanish and appreciate this language which is not only beautiful but useful, since it is spoken by almost 600 million people around the world.
