About Sonia
Born to Immigrant parents, I was raised in the best of both worlds. Spanish is a very useful language today and being a native speaker has taught me the power of being bilingual, and how many can miss this opportunity with Spanish due to their late start. A language learner myself, I have realized how difficult it can be for adults to pick up foreign phrases that a toddler could easily pick up. These experiences have helped me understand what it takes to learn a language as well as teach one. That being said, I am here to bridge that gap for language learners and give them the confidence to face the fears of the challenges of learning Spanish..

I teach simple conversational Spanish for trips to Spanish speaking countries, getting to know locals, or getting to know your in-laws :) My lessons are quick and easy, taking apart each phrase and building grammar through listening and comprehension while using everyday situations! These lessons are for beginners who need an easy introduction to the language and simple conversations to get them around.
