About Sofia
I am an International Bacalaureate canidate. For those who don't know, this is a very rigorous program that emphasizes a global education. This also includes taking a second language. My advanced spanish class requires me to be able to analyze literature, speak about certain global topics/issues, and have university-level reading comprehension and writing skills. Besides that, I am a natural speaker that has been born and raised in Miami which means I have been raised around many different dialects of Spanish allowing me to not only understand slang from different places, but also understand different accents.

During my lessons I can help facilitating difficult pronunciations that english speaker commonly struggle with. I am quick to notice when something doesnt sound right but also fix it to make you sound like a more natural speaker. I feel the goal of any language student should be to sound as natural as possible and I think I can help tremendously with that.
