From a personal perspective I have learnt that Is important to make friends with people who speak the language you want to learn as soon as possible or move to a country for a while. Force yourself into those uncomfortable situations. Socializing can be one of the best ways to learn a new language.

I have lived half my life in a Spanish speaking country and half my life in an English speaking country. I was born in Ecuador and learn English in America. I learned the struggle from a personal point of view, I think that makes me a good candidate. I would say my English is as perfect as my Spanish.
