My name is Mariajose, and I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. My goal as a tutor is to help students learn Spanish in a practical, comfortable, and engaging way. I focus on building confidence through conversation while also improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding.
My teaching method is personalized according to each student's goals and level. I use interactive activities, real-life conversations, examples from everyday situations, and exercises that help students apply Spanish naturally instead of only memorizing rules. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and connected to real communication.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation to practice speaking and identify areas for improvement. Then, we focus on a specific topic such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or cultural expressions, followed by practical activities and exercises.
