About Catherine Maria
My name is Catherine, 22 y/o. I'm a fourth-year Business and Political Science student at Trinity College Dublin. I am half Spanish and half Irish but I have lived in Spain for most of my life. I prefer to teach face to face, however teaching online is a great option for those who find it hard to move around.
I love teaching Spanish to English speakers as it is something that comes naturally to me, and I find it rewarding to share this beautiful language with others.
I teach all kinds of levels, from children to adults.
I also teach young LC students to help them gain enough confidence for their exams.

As a native Spanish speaker my teaching centers around improving communication and interaction skills, accent reduction, and immersive conversation in the target language. I tend to focus less on technical issues of languages, for instance, grammar rules and vocabulary expansion. For this reason, my teaching would be best suited to those students who already have some grasp of Spanish, and are looking to push their spoken language to the next level, through real-life interaction with a native speaker.
My lessons are fun and interactive as we can talk about any topic the student wants as well as anything that can help them in real-life situations!
