About Ailem Selene
Thank you so much for considering me as your tutor. I was born in Colombia and have been living in North America for more than 22 years.
If there is one thing I am confident about, it's the teaching gift I've been given. What motivates me is celebrating the small, consistent breakthroughs with clients that result in accomplishing goals in due time. I also know I have the gift of encouragement, which means I can help keep you motivated when it is difficult to stick to the vision you have in seeing yourself learn Spanish :)
This, as well as the passion I have for sharing my culture with others definitely helps to build a strong foundation for teaching Spanish.
Finally, my experience as a mental health nurse and a life coach will help us connect and find barriers to learning together! I am a good listener and can assess things that may be holding you back.

If you have been meaning to learn a language for months, even years, but .... "haven't quite gotten around to it,"maybe this time I will get serious about it," "why am I doing this again?"....
I combine the motivation basics of life coaching and the complete immersion method of learning Spanish. We will review songs together, expand vocabulary by not using English as a crutch and be sure to have homework to make sure you reach your goals.
It helps if you have a little bit of Spanish under your belt, but not mandatory to take this class!
