About Alma

I am from Mexico and came to Canada to study my PhD degree. I am passionate about learning and teaching. I am still improving my English and French myself, and have experienced the struggles of learning a language as an adult. Besides, I love my own language and I have spent most part of my life improving my grammar and writing. Now, I would like to share my knowledge and provide a friendly environment to boost your skills. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced learner, I will be happy to help you!

About the lesson

I have over 4 years of experience teaching Spanish to non-native speakers, which has given me a solid foundation to teach you whether you're starting from scratch or at an intermediate/advanced level. I prioritize the needs of my students, and can help you with conversation practice, expanding your vocabulary, improving your pronunciation or reading comprehension, as well as formal and informal writing.

We can focus on topics such as travel, work, or any hobbies you have. I'm always willing to personalize the classes to keep you engaged, because I believe that learning should be fun!
