About Maria

I am a dedicated, responsible, and approachable person who genuinely enjoys helping others learn my native language. Having studied in England and achieved an A* in A-Level Spanish, I understand the importance of commitment, preparation, and effective learning methods. My previous experience helping teach English to school students in Mexico has taught me the value of patience, clear communication, and adapting to each student's needs. I take my responsibilities seriously and aim to create a supportive, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am committed to helping every student build confidence, make steady progress, and achieve their personal or academic goals.

About the lesson

Hola! I'm a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Mexico, with Spanish parents, which means I'm familiar with both Mexican and European Spanish. I studied in England, where I achieved an A* in A-Level Spanish, so I understand the language from both a native speaker's and a student's perspective.

I also have teaching experience, having helped teach English to upper primary and lower secondary school students at my mother's schools in Mexico. I genuinely enjoy teaching and helping students gain confidence in a language.

My lessons are tailored to your individual needs, whether you want to improve your conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, school grades, or prepare for exams. I can also help you understand the differences between Latin American and European Spanish.

My goal is to make learning Spanish enjoyable, practical, and rewarding, while helping you make real progress at your own pace. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to perfect your Spanish, I'd love to help you reach your goals. Estoy deseando conocerte!
