About LIANA

I have a Marketing Degree and 18 credit hours of a Master’s in Spanish from the University of North Texas in Denton, which I was not able to complete due to having to move for my husband’s job.
After the Covid-19 pandemic I retired and remained at home dedicating my time to what I love the most: literature, reading, writing and art history. I feel like it is time for me to share my experience and knowledge with others.
I have taught Spanish to employees and executives in my office, as I felt that they would benefit in dealing with customers in Latin America. I have also taught the language, through games and songs, to my granddaughter who is now going through bilingual education.
When learning a language, it is also important to learn the culture that varies from country to country.

About the lesson

I have lived in the US for over thirty years and would love to share my passion for my native language: Spanish. I am a retired International Logistics manager and novel writer. My method of teaching is to start with conversation and practical vocabulary, making classes fun and entertaining, learning grammar as we go along.
