I continue to practice my Spanish skills in my daily life. My mother is a native speaker and helps me maintain my Spanish. Teaching for 16 years helped me to understand different learning styles and teaching techniques. I enjoy teaching and watching my students grow in their language acquisition.

Spanish
Spanish was my first language. I am fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the language. I taught in a dual language class for 16 years. I love teaching.Some of my greatest rewards came from watching my students develop in their language acquisition. In a dual language classroom one teaches both English and Spanish to non-native speakers. I am patient and like to try different ways to teach according to learning styles.
