About Sol
Hello, my name is Sol and I am a Spanish teacher that loves working with any kind of student, no matter the level, age or native language. I want you to feel qualified to take a step in the real world while being able to understand the topic in a different, more theoretical way, as well. I guide my teaching under the Education for Liberation spectrum, as I am interested in communication and learning being a two-way road.

Hello! My name is Sol, and I am an English teacher completing my bachelor’s degree in Sociology. My tutoring sessions are aligned with the Communicative Language (CLT) approach. I emphasized that the goal of learning a language (or any other kind of learning) should be focused on competence, in the case of language it would be communicative competence, to make meaningful communication and language use the focus of all classes. I am always perfecting not only my language proficiency but also the educational theories I follow. I have worked with kids, teenagers, and adults from all over the world, starting in Latin America and to South Korea and China, so language really isn’t a barrier for me! I’m looking forward to meeting you and learning together.
