About Maria Florencia

I have gained experience working as a freelance professor of Spanish, giving private lessons as a tutor of all levels of Spanish language. I am relatively new in the teaching field, however teaching Spanish -my mother tongue- to foreigners is something I am very passionate about.
I consider myself a very structured person, and applying my knowledge in combination with all the tools and teaching techniques that I have learnt during my Spanish Teacher (ELE) Degree studies is very satisfying to me. I have always had a facility in communicating with people from different countries and cultures, and being a professor now is a rewarding experience, the progress of my students and the feedback I receive are constantly motivating me to grow in the field of teaching.

About the lesson

We speak at the beginning of the class to check the level of the student and then we carry out the teaching through practices and tasks, with a deductive discovery. With some vocabulaty, and we practice the grammar.

I like to use role-playing player games and translations, In addition to educational books.

Perfect! Learning with Florencia is absolutely amazing. I get to know so much more about Spanish and Argentina, which has always fascinated me. Her methodology covers all aspects of Spanish and she's great at teaching new concepts without actually translating. This is a great way to keep talking in Spanish and learning it even better. I would highly recommend Florencia if you're looking to learn Spanish as a beginner or want to brush up your skills.

Excellent! Flor has a very sunny disposition and exudes the warmth of Spanish language and culture. Session was really amazing. If you are a quick learner you will enjoy it and hearing the words spoken by a native speaker gives you even more idea about how language is not just different words but also culture and history. She also does exercises from coursebook which is a huge plus as that helps you prepare in a systematic way.
