About Oliver
I'm Oliver, I moved from my native country of Spain over six years ago, swapping the sunflower fields of Andalucía for the rainy, cobbled streets of Manchester, before recently relocating to West Yorkshire. In my spare time, I am an avid video game player, reluctant gym-goer and keen cook. I am passionate about travelling and learning different languages (I speak three and a half - currently working my way through Japanese!) and thoroughly enjoy the teaching process. I believe language is the key to culture, and with it we can unlock many new adventures, connections and experiences.

I believe that learning a language is one of the best skills that anyone can acquire, and I am passionate about helping you achieve this. Grammar should never be the sole focus, but it is the necessary foundation to know how to use the language, and not just repeat learnt phrases like a parrot! I have taught in different environments and to different crowds, from teenagers in high schools to retired folks who wanted to learn some vocational Spanish. My Bachelor's and Master's degrees allow me to teach Spanish at all levels. My lessons last 60-90 minutes, depending on the availability and goal of the student.
