About Angel
I'm a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela and a professional language teacher with more than 30 years of experience teaching Spanish to adults from different countries and backgrounds.
Over the years, I've worked with professionals and corporate clients, university students, expats, travelers, and adults learning Spanish for personal reasons. My teaching experience has taken me from Venezuela to China, the United States, and now Spain, as well as many years of online teaching.
I also have specialized university training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language from the University of Salamanca. My international experience has taught me that knowing grammar and vocabulary is only part of learning a language—the real challenge is being able to use what you know when you actually need it.
That's why I especially enjoy working with adults who want to become more comfortable speaking Spanish. My classes are friendly and relaxed, but they also have structure and a clear purpose.
Outside the classroom, I'm a musician and enjoy meeting people from different cultures—something that has always been an important part of both my personal and professional life.

You've studied Spanish. Now let's get you speaking it.
Maybe you've studied Spanish before and understand much more than you can actually say. You know some grammar and vocabulary, but when it's time to have a real conversation, you hesitate, translate in your head, or simply can't find the words.
Or perhaps you're starting from the beginning and want to learn Spanish in a practical way from day one.
In my lessons, we work toward one main goal: helping you use Spanish confidently in real situations.
My classes combine conversation with the structure you need to make real progress. Depending on your level and goals, we'll work on speaking, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, and then put what you're learning into practice through guided conversation and realistic situations.
I don't believe that a conversation class should simply be an hour of chatting. I'll help you notice what's holding you back, explain what you need clearly, give you opportunities to practice it, and gradually help you use it more independently.
Lessons are adapted to your goals—whether you need Spanish for everyday life, travel, work, family, living in a Spanish-speaking country, or simply because you've always wanted to speak the language.
Complete beginners are welcome, as are intermediate and advanced learners who want to become more fluent and confident.
