About Jean
I taught French, English and Spanish for more than ten years in Haiti and for one year at Indiana University (bloomington Campus). I oversaw the preparation and recording (audio and video) of a method used to teach Haitian Creole to American diplomats getting ready to start their mission in Port-Au-Prince,. Haiti. I also used to direct a drama troupe in both Haiti and the Washington D.C. metro area.

I am a writer, poet, a translator, and a stand-up comic. Some of my performances are on Youtube. I have translated into Haitian Creole some books belonging to world culture, such as the classic works of French playwright Moliere (Tartuffe, Le misanthrope, L'Ecole des femmes, Les femmes savantes...), French tragic authors Jean Racine and Pierre Corneille, and Robinson Crusoe, the famous adventure novel by British author Allen Defoe.
