Buongiorno!! I am a native speaker of Italian with experience teaching all leves. In my elementary classes we focus on conversation and the ability to speak while of course providing a basic knowledge of grammar. For example we can start with the basic conversation on introductions: My name is.... Monica Mi chiamo Monica. Where are you from? Di dove sei?I am italian living in the United States Sono Italiana e vivo negli Stati Uniti.
My advance classes we read literature, newspaper articles and focus the class on conversation. I have thought a class where we would select a newspaper article on italian politics or economics or social issues and use it as an opportunity to have a conversation but also learn about specific aspects of Italian life.
