About Beatriz
I was born and raised in the Philippines, where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology and taught for 12 years at a large state university. I have undergone teaching effectiveness courses and training on online learning, which have equipped me with skills that are relevant for learners. I have also assisted faculty members teaching Tagalog in New York City in providing learning activities and giving feedback to beginner and intermediate Tagalog speakers.

With my undergraduate and graduate degree in Psychology and my training in learner-centered teaching, my approach to teaching is tailored to each client's unique background, strengths, and learning goals. My teaching techniques emphasize experiential learning, constructive feedback, and making learning relevant to each client's needs and interests. Lessons are for Tagalog learners at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
