About Bryan
I’m a native Welsh speaker from North Wales with over 12 years of experience teaching languages to adults and younger learners. I grew up speaking Welsh and completed both my primary and secondary education through the medium of Welsh.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a TEFL qualification and have taught in several countries as well as online. Having also learnt other languages myself, I understand both the rewards and challenges of becoming confident in a new language.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking, experimenting with the language and making mistakes. Whether you’re learning Welsh for family, work, travel, personal interest or simply want to speak with greater confidence, I’d be very happy to help you on your Welsh-learning journey.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and strongly focused on conversation and real-world Welsh. My aim is to get you actively using the language and developing the confidence to communicate naturally, rather than simply memorising grammar and vocabulary.
As a native Welsh speaker from North Wales with over 12 years of teaching experience, I can help you with natural pronunciation, everyday vocabulary and the Welsh you are likely to hear in real conversations. I hold a degree and a TEFL qualification and also have personal experience of learning other languages, so I understand the challenges of language learning from both the teacher’s and learner’s perspective.
Lessons are tailored to your individual level, interests and goals and are suitable for adult learners from complete beginners through to more experienced speakers who want to improve their conversational confidence.
Lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on your needs
