About SeAnna
One of my biggest and lifelong passions is horses. I began riding when I was five, and have owned my own horse for a little over five years. Along with my own horse, I have been responsible for caring for many other equine friends over time, including two foster horses, friends’ horses, and most recently my cousin’s horses whom my mare is now living with. Along with my personally gained experience, I took Natural Horsemanship lessons from an incredible horsewoman for a year, where I trained with a three year old rescue mare. I also spent several months volunteering for a therapeutic riding center which was a wonderful experience. There is no topic that excites me more, and I look forward to sharing what I have learned!

My teaching method is discussion based. I encourage students to talk openly about the material, voicing questions and comments and asking for more detail or clarification when needed. Horsemanship is an active and engaging sport or art form, and I strive to bring that same sense of active thinking and engagement to the classroom.
