About Elizabeth
I graduated from the University of Cambridge in June 2019 with a 2.1 Masters in Natural sciences specialising in chemistry. Before that I studied at Altrincham Girls School, where I thoroughly enjoyed my A-levels. There I was a mentor for younger students who struggled with physics.

I would start by asking if there are topics the student would like to focus on and what the student is currently learning at school. I would then go over these topics assuming no prior knowledge an encourage to student to contribute where they feel they can. Once a basic explanation is given I find it most important to practice questions, firstly I would do a question then the student would do a question with my help then they student should be able to practice questions on their own. My teaching approach is to aim to start example/past paper questions as soon as possible. Many students have the knowledge to answer questions but lack the confidence to do so, therefore as a tutor I would aim to encourage the student to answer the question themselves with me as a guide or source of reassurance.
