About Ashia
I am an undergraduate student studying Natural Sciences in Southampton having gained A-Levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I am fairly new to tutoring but gave weekly lessons to my cousin leading to her Maths GCSE, where she achieved a high 6. My enthusiasm for the subject along with my recent experience in sitting the exams myself will allow me to give support and encouragement to anyone who feels they need a little extra help.

My lessons will be adapted to each individual student focusing on the areas they feel least comfortable with, in order to build up confidence. I will adapt my teaching methods to best suit the student and allow them to choose the areas they most need or want to cover. For those preparing for exams, I feel one of the best ways to prepare is to look at and practice past exam questions so I will go over plenty of these, to make students feel as prepared as possible when the time comes. I will use a variety of methods including visual aids and helpful mnemonics to help students remember and grasp content.
