My tutoring approach is all about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I focus on tailoring my techniques to each student's individual needs and learning style. I often use a combination of methods, including: * Concept Mapping: Helping students visualize and understand complex topics. * Practice Questions: Providing plenty of opportunities to apply knowledge and build confidence. * Active Recall: Encouraging students to retrieve information from memory to strengthen retention. * Real-World Examples: Connecting concepts to everyday life to make learning more relatable. A typical online lesson lasts about 45 minutes, which I find is the perfect length to maintain focus and cover a good amount of material. As a tutor, I bring my strong academic background, having achieved Excellence in NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology at Victoria University of Wellington, which gives me a deeper understanding of effective learning strategies. My online tutoring sessions are ideal for older primary school students and high school students who want to improve their understanding of the subject matter, boost their grades, and build confidence in their abilities. I'm here to help you succeed!"
