About Shara
I am an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer with over a decade of experience working across healthcare, commercial, and residential projects. I currently work in federal healthcare design, leading space planning, interior documentation, and coordination for renovation and new construction projects within complex environments.
My background includes work with both the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and United States Department of Defense, where I have contributed to high performance environments that require precision, coordination, and strict design standards. This experience has shaped how I approach design in a strategic, efficient, and real world way.
I have worked across high end healthcare environments, commercial interiors, and residential design, including private housing and complex renovations. This range allows me to understand how design decisions impact not just aesthetics, but workflow, function, and long term usability.
My expertise is in space planning, furniture layouts, and interior documentation, the part of design that determines whether a project actually works. I help simplify complex layouts, organize plan sets, and create clear, buildable drawings that reduce confusion and costly mistakes.
Alongside my professional role, I run an interior planning and design support studio where I work with students, designers, and professionals who want to strengthen their technical and strategic skills.
