About Brian
My name is Brian Martinez, and I am a 24 year old chemistry graduate student from Miami, FL getting my master's degree in May of 2023. I am looking to tutor students needing help and guidance with chemistry material in their classes.
I have been a teaching assistant for 3 years in General and Analytical chemistry courses at the University of Florida and have had analytical laboratory experience for the past 4 years.

My teaching style includes having open dialogues about what each individual student wants to learn and then working to fill those gaps of knowledge.
A typical lesson plan for me consists of:
1. Listing objectives of each lesson (Introduction)
2. Describing applications of learned material
3. Creating an action plan to learn material
4. Reviewing material and answering questions
5. Giving further questions/tasks for continued mastery of concepts
My number 1 priority is that I do not want students to feel intimidated by any set of material. We can work through any concept together to help develop a high level of understanding chemistry concepts.
These lessons are for any chemistry students from middle school to the undergraduate college level.
