About Angela

My name is Angela, nice to meet you! As you can see I'm new to Superprof but this doesn't mean I don't have any experience. :) I have been tutoring languages and social subjects for over 2 years now. I am currently in my third year of the International Digital Business Concepts course at Fontys. Being in a classroom full of international students has given my English skills a huge boost!

With my experience, I'll give you that same boost that will take you to the next level. My students describe me as patient, enthusiastic, skilled and motivating. In addition to the growth in substantive knowledge, I often hear that my students get a boost in self-confidence through the lessons.

About the lesson

It is important to me that the student not only learns the material, but also learns how to deal with the material so that he/she can work independently later on.

During the intake we will look at:
- What you find difficult;
- What you have already tried;
- Which study method(s) suits you.

At the beginning I will mainly focus on what the student finds difficult, and listen to their explanation about this. It is important to know exactly where the problems are, and whether it is only about the material or whether it is also about a certain way of thinking that is bothering you.

We then make a plan together so that you have enough time to ask questions, repeat the material and master it in time!

Online tutoring
I have the right programs and tools to do this as optimally as possible. This means software that the student can watch live with what I write on my drawing tablet. This makes online tutoring a lot more effective than simply talking about the subject matter.
