About Mojdeh

Hi, I’m Mojdeh, but you can call me Moji. I’m an Intern Architect AIBC with a Master of Architecture from the University of Calgary and about five years of experience working in architecture.

I’ve worked mostly on high-rise residential projects, along with healthcare, commercial, and mass-timber work. But one of the things I’ve always really enjoyed about architecture is talking through ideas looking at a project, asking questions, sketching things out, and figuring out how the design and the story behind it can become clearer.

That’s what I’d like to offer here.

If you’re working on a studio project, portfolio, presentation, or architecture school application and you feel like you need a fresh set of eyes, I can be an extra crit for you. We can look at what you already have, talk through your thought process, identify what’s working and what might need more development, and think about how you can communicate your ideas more clearly.

I’m not here to design your project for you or tell you there’s only one right answer. I’d rather ask questions, share what I notice, and help you make your own decisions with more confidence.

Bring your sketches, drawings, diagrams, messy ideas, or almost-finished project wherever you are in the process, we can start from there.

Architecture Project Crits & Portfolio Feedback

Need a fresh set of eyes on your architecture project?

Architecture school can sometimes leave you so close to your project that it becomes difficult to see what’s working, what’s missing, or how to communicate your ideas clearly.

I offer one-on-one studio-style crit sessions for architecture and design students. Think of it as an extra desk crit: you bring your project, drawings, portfolio, or application work, and I’ll approach it with a fresh perspective similar to a studio instructor or visiting critic.

We can look at:

* Your overall design concept and whether it comes through clearly
* The connection between your initial idea and your final design
* Plans, sections, diagrams, massing, and spatial organization
* How to communicate your design thought process
* What drawings or diagrams might be missing
* How to make your presentation tell a stronger story
* Portfolio layout, hierarchy, and project sequencing
* Architecture school applications and portfolio preparation
* How to talk about your project confidently during a crit or presentation

My goal isn’t to redesign your project for you. Instead, I’ll ask questions, challenge ideas where useful, identify opportunities, and help you find clearer ways to communicate the thinking that’s already behind your work.

You can come at any stage of the process from an early concept or messy sketchbook to a nearly finished presentation.
