Hello,
If you are having issues in a science related field, I would love to help! My teaching style promotes learning by asking you to truly think about underlying principles instead of memorizing. I am free for lessons most weekday nights and anytime during the weekend.
Education/qualification:
- I am currently finishing my third year in medical school
- I graduated with distinction from Purdue University with a masters in Chemistry and minors in Physics and Psychology

I offer a problem-based learning approach to tutoring. Before each listen, to better tailor the session to your needs, I will ask what you are currently learning and what problems you have with the material. Instead of listening to lectures, we will dive into specific examples and find the root of your misunderstanding. From there, we will be able to work through several problems regarding the areas in which you struggle. This is a very hands-on, practical, and interactive approach that will require a great deal of effort on your part and mine. If you are someone that learns better from conventional lectures, you would be better served by another tutor with more expertise in that style of teaching. Furthermore, if you have any other questions regarding academics, research, and applications for University and Graduate schools, I would be more than happy to help with examples from personal experience.
