About Lark
My name is Lark! I’m originally from Alaska, but after high school I moved to Portland where I received a Bachelor of Arts in social work from Portland State University. While I don’t have formal teaching certification, I plan to eventually work within the world of education and I really enjoy the subject of writing. I graduated summa cum laude at the top of my class so I can promise you that while I don’t have formal teaching experience, I do know how to be a good writer and student :) I know my they’re/there/theirs and my you’re/yours… I know what’s up with semicolons AND I can tell you the purpose of the Oxford comma. What more could you want?

I typically schedule lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays but I have some flexibility so I’m happy to work with you to figure out a time that works for both of us and how to make the most of it. Virtual or in-person is fine, whichever is most accessible for both of us.
