About John
I am an engineering student offering tutoring in math and physics for middle and high school students. My technical background ensures I have mastered the material, but my approach is what truly sets me apart. I am patient, encouraging, and focused on helping you understand the "why" behind each concept. I treat every session with the utmost professionalism, ensuring your learning goals are always the priority.

I focus on being a "guide on the side," not a "sage on the stage." I start every session by clarifying what you already know and where you feel stuck. From there, I identify the best approach for you, sometimes that means breaking down a problem visually on the whiteboard, other times it means walking through it step-by-step with guided questions. My goal is to ensure you are the one doing the work, with me providing the safety net.
