About Nehir
I tutor most KS3 and GCSE subjects, including Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Combined and Triple Science. At A-Level, I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I also have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting my teaching methods to suit each learner’s individual needs and helping them build confidence at their own pace.
My lessons focus on simplifying complex topics, strengthening subject knowledge, and developing effective exam techniques, revision strategies, and problem-solving skills. Many of my students have significantly improved their confidence and achieved higher grades through consistent, personalised support.
My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to inspire a genuine enjoyment of learning while giving them the confidence to reach their full potential.

My lessons are engaging, personalised, and tailored to each student’s learning style, ability, and goals. Every lesson begins by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, allowing me to create a structured plan that supports steady progress.
I explain difficult concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way using worked examples, diagrams, visual aids, and exam-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and actively participate, helping them develop confidence as well as a deeper understanding of the subject.
For KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students, I place a strong emphasis on exam preparation. We practise past paper questions, analyse mark schemes, and use proven revision techniques to maximise marks and reduce exam stress. Regular feedback ensures lessons are continually adapted to meet each student’s needs.
My students have consistently improved both academically and in confidence, with many progressing by one or more grades after working with me. Above all, I aim to create a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment where students enjoy learning, achieve their goals, and become independent, confident learners.
