About Roki
I studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. I have always had a great passion for education and always knew that I wanted to teach from a very young age. Unfortunately, I didn't realize at that young age the amount of pressure and stress that teachers are put under. Managing an entire classroom along with faculty duties and state regulations was more than I could manage. However, it makes me a very good candidate to teach children one-on-one or in very small groups.

Lessons will largely depend on how much help your child needs. Do they just need a little help understanding homework better, or do they need full extra classes on top of their schooling? I can definitely provide either without a problem. As a neuro-divergent adult, I better understand the struggles that neuro-divergent children experience and try to tailor the teaching/learning experience to best suit their needs. I strive to keep the lessons as stress-free as possible. Knowing that children who are neuro-divergent often have shorter attention spans, there will be short breaks to decompress and regather themselves when necessary. Please note that I have no issues teaching neuro-typical children, but feel it is worthwhile knowing that I am able to help neuro-divergent children succeed.

IMPORTANT: My transportation is the bus, which means if you do not live near a bus route I cannot meet you in your home. However, I am more than happy to meet you locally at the library downtown.
