About Anna
I am a Ph.D. neuroscience and psychology professor who loves connecting course topics to a student's everyday life. I have worked in fields of primatology, philosophy, behavioral economics, biology, and comparative anatomy as well as neuroscience and psychology. I aim to help students understand concepts as well as help students with their writing assignments and undergraduate and graduate applications. Today's youth is tomorrow's future and it is important to me that teachers help facilitate student academic development and personal growth each step of the way.

Each student is unique and deserves customized teaching and mentoring approaches. I scaffold students to their next steps of understanding and capability through support, positive encouragement, and learning by both observation and action.
I offer lessons primarily to middle school, high school, undergraduate and graduate students. I have taught reading and math to elementary students and enjoy working with students of all ages.
