About Fatima
I am currently getting my bachelors of science in neuroscience. I work part-time as a tutor and teaching assistant for Kumon. I have been tutoring for the past 6 years. My teaching method is based of observation and communication. I take the time to observe how the student approaches their coursework and which aspects they struggle with. After I have given them a chance to show me what they would do we can discuss a plan and technique to approach problems. Giving them step by step explanations on how to work out the problem. After this I let them work on their own while observing what they have changed and what I need to continue to reinforce with them until they have understood the concept.
