I am comfortable giving lessons to elementary, middle school and high school, as well as college students and my teaching methodology will change based on the level of the student. I always make sure to explain concepts in a thorough but easy-to-understand manner and I often utilize examples from everyday life to make difficult concepts more familiar.
I am a Neuroscience Ph.D. student at UNR who, before this position, performed full-time academic research for 2 years at UC Davis. There, I was able to get not only practical experience in Biology and Neuroscience research, but I also had the chance to teach neuroscience lessons to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as biology and neuroscience outreach in K-12 classes.
