About Anna
I am a graduate of the New England Conservatory with experience teaching private flute lessons to students of varying ages and experience levels. In addition to my studies, I worked for NEC Prep, where I gained experience supporting a community of young musicians and music educators. My background includes orchestral, chamber, and solo performance, and I enjoy sharing those experiences with my students. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can build confidence, develop their musicianship, and enjoy the process of learning the flute.

I am a graduate of the New England Conservatory offering personalized flute lessons for students of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced high schoolers preparing for auditions/competitions. My lesson plans are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's building a strong technical foundation, improving tone and musicality, preparing for orchestra auditions or competitions, or simply gaining confidence and enjoying music.
Every lesson is structured around the individual student and includes developing consistent practice routines, managing performance nerves, and setting clear, achievable goals that lead to steady improvement. I believe in creating a positive, encouraging environment where students feel challenged while making consistent progress. I know firsthand that learning an instrument can be challenging, which is why I work hard to create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. My goal is to help each of my students become an independent, confident musician while sharing my own passion for music.
