About Tess
I am a 19 year old Newcastle student, studying accounting and finance. I have always loved maths, this is shown in my studies as I did maths A-Level. Having had tutors when I was younger, I know it can be stressful asking someone new for help, but I assure you, I am happy to be able to help you work towards your goals in maths and make sure you reach them in time.

Having helped local families and family members, I have found that the best way to get better at maths is practice, for this reason, I would help go through practice questions with the pupil, breaking up the question into steps and showing them how to do each step and how to approach the question in an exam. However, if the pupil has an alternative way of working which they might find more beneficial, I am open to working in other ways. I would like to tutor years 7 to year 11. Sessions can be as long as the student wants as long as it isn't over 2 hours.
