About Tomas
I am 29 years old, and have just completed my education as a school teacher in the subjects English, physics, chemistry and social studies. However, my core competency is English, where I have long had a particular fondness for the written aspect.
I write stories myself, as an amateur writer, and in this capacity I have helped other aspiring writers as an editor and proofreader. My experience from this gives me a deep understanding on how difficult it is to write and how the only way to become better at it is to do more of it.
I want to help as many people as possible to achieve their potential with the English language, and to this end, I believe that a focus on written English can move the language in everyone - no matter the skill level.

Whether you are proficient or challenged in English, writing is always a challenge. It can be scary to exhibit your language, as well as a struggle to acquire the discipline the craft demands. However, writing is also a rewarding and exciting way to express yourself, if you take the time to develop the tools that are necessary.
Depending on skill level, classes will vary in subjects and techniques, but common to all my teaching is a focus on the writing process itself - not on which product comes out in the end.
Writing is about making a plan, shaping a sketch you can follow, making a draft, edit his draft, get feedback, and then improve the text further.
Therefore, a typical lesson plan will include the following elements:
- A clear alignment of expectations and our goals.
- Evaluation of competencies and interests.
Introductory work assignments with a multimodal focus on the different parts of the writing process (planning, sketching, drafting, editing, feedback).
- Development of meaningful work assignment, centered around the evaluated interests.
