About Shubham
Hi! My name is Shubham and I’m currently an A-Level student having achieved nine Grade 9s at a GCSE standard and now I tutor Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
I want to tutor because I know how challenging GCSEs can be and I’ve found that having someone explain things clearly and from a student's perspective can make a huge difference. I want to help students build both their understanding and confidence.
My lessons are friendly but focused, with a strong emphasis on exam technique and past papers. We’ll identify areas to improve, work through them together and then practise exam questions using mark schemes so you know exactly how to pick up those extra marks.
My aim is simple: make difficult topics feel manageable and help you feel confident going into your exams.

My approach is built around understanding the content first, then applying that knowledge to exam questions. I explain difficult concepts in a simple, structured way, checking understanding throughout instead of simply moving through content.
A typical lesson would involve: Identifying gaps and misconceptions, Teaching and explaining key concepts and HEAVY usage of exam style questions as well as past papers.
Lessons would typically range from an hour to an hour and a half and I am able to teach up to a GCSE level.
