About Akshat
Hi, I’m Akshat. I’m currently a student at an NIT, but more importantly, I’m someone who genuinely loves making sense of Math and Physics for others. I’ve spent a lot of time teaching my younger siblings and friends, which has taught me something important: you can’t just talk at a student; you have to listen to them. I can easily see when a student is struggling. If a concept feels like too much, I stop and find a better way to explain it so they don't feel overwhelmed. I like to use examples from daily life so students can see how the science they're learning actually works around them. Since I'm an engineer, I don’t believe in just memorizing formulas for an exam. I want my students to see the "why" behind everything. I like to bring the subject to life using things they actually see every day—like how rotational motion and friction work when they are riding a bicycle, or the geometry they see in the buildings around them. I mainly work with Classes 6 to 10 because that’s the best time to build a solid foundation. My main goal is to create a "no-judgment zone." I want my students to feel comfortable enough to ask even the silliest questions, because that’s how they actually start to enjoy learning and think for themselves.

I believe Math and Physics shouldn't feel like a burden of formulas, but rather a set of tools to understand the world. As an NIT student, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy language. My classes are tailored specifically for students from Class 6 to Class 10, where building a strong foundation is most critical. I bring an empathetic approach to tutoring, having taught my younger siblings and peers, I instinctively understand where a student might feel stumped or overwhelmed. I typically start sessions with a quick review, followed by an explanation of new concepts using real world applications. For instance, I explain force and projectile motion through a cricket match. As an engineer, I want my students to be innovative and see the science in everyday life, like the rotational motion and friction acting on a bicycle tire, so they understand concepts for the real world, not just for exams. I reinforce each session with interactive problem-solving to ensure the student feels confident and heard. I don’t just teach subjects, I teach students how to think and truly enjoy the process of learning.
