My name is Anna and I absolutely love helping students grow in both skill and confidence! My background spans private lessons, choral direction, and musical theater productions. Outside of teaching, I’m a proud cat owner (my cat, Fifi, is often the real star of the show!), a lifelong gamer, and someone who finds joy in creativity - whether that’s cooking, exploring new places, or making music with friends. I believe learning music should be inspiring and enjoyable, and I strive to create lessons that feel both supportive and fun, while still giving students the tools to grow as musicians.

I'm a NJDOE certified music educator with over 15 years of experience working with students of all ages and skill levels in voice and piano. I specialize in classical and musical theater styles, and I’m passionate about helping each student build strong technique, musical expression, and confidence—whether they’re just beginning their journey or preparing for auditions and performances. I offer flexible, high-quality private lessons remotely online, tailored to your goals and learning style, all from the comfort of your own space.
What to Expect from Remote Lessons with Anna
Lessons are held over Zoom and available in 30, 45, or 60-minute formats, depending on your age, experience level, and goals. Whether you’re preparing for an audition, building foundational skills, or just exploring music for the first time, each session is personalized to meet you where you are and help you grow with confidence and clarity.
Scheduling & Flexibility
Remote lessons are scheduled in 1 week in advance and can be arranged on a recurring or week-to-week basis, depending on availability. I understand that life can be unpredictable, so I strive to be flexible when possible. However, I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy: Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Technology Requirements
To get the most out of your online lesson, you’ll need:
- A stable internet connection
- A computer, tablet, or phone with a working camera and microphone (laptop is preferred)
- A quiet, well-lit space where you can sing or play comfortably
- For piano students: a keyboard or piano positioned so I can see your hands. Medium to advanced students should also have a sustain pedal equipped.
I’ll provide Google Meet links, any digital resources, and a shared folder where we’ll keep your music, exercises, and notes. If technical issues arise in the first 10 minutes of the lesson and can’t be resolved, we’ll reschedule.
Practice Support & Communication
Each student receives weekly practice goals tailored to their lesson content, plus access to warmup recordings, accompaniment tracks, and other materials to support their growth between sessions. I’m happy to check in between lessons if you ever need help reviewing something or clarifying a concept—we’re a team!
Studio Environment
My goal is to create a virtual space that feels grounded, encouraging, and artistically rich. Whether we’re working on breath support, interpreting a song, or building sight-reading skills, I want every student to feel challenged, heard, and creatively inspired.
