About Jessica
I studied french for 5 years formally, in high school and college. Since then I have always kept it up privately and visited France whenever possible to further hone my skills. There is no thrill like being able to navigate a foreign country with a second language! I believe you can only learn so much in a classroom without total immersion- if you try to speak french with a native french-speaker before you have built an adequate vocabulary and understanding of the language.. ils riront :)

I like to meet kids where they are at. I believe confidence is integral when learning another language so I will strive to find a balance between building a pupil's confidence in what they already know and their capabilities, while gearing lessons in a way that makes them fun and relevant in every-day life. Learning goes beyond the classroom and I always try my best to help teach a love of learning, in addition to curriculum.
