About Cyn
Hi, I have been in nonprofit management for many years and understand there are lots of things that are simply never taught- you can find yourself in a place where it is "what do I do now?" How Do I ask for board members, donations, help in the office or other critical questions.
This is where I help: let me know the problem and we will solve it together. That way you learn and gain confidence in your own ability to navigate your work.

I find the most important thing is to understand what you want to learn and why. What is the need for whatever lesson, why is it important. Once the project has some context, understanding the moving parts becomes much easier.
I like to teach by sharing the process, from inception to tactics to the outcome you seek. Learning the vocabulary aone can be more than half the battle.
It is also important to focus on the various steps to learn, not simply the outcome. Slow down, ask questions and be sure you understand the answer before moving ahead. No question is dumb, unless it is the same one for the 10th time. That means there is a much larger issue to address.
