About Frank

I'm Frank, a full-time software engineer with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University. I tutor high school and college students in Calculus 1 & 2, Algebra, Physics 1, and US History (including AP US History).

My engineering background means I teach math and science the way they actually work — not just memorizing formulas, but understanding the concepts deeply enough to handle anything a test throws at you. I've taught students of all ages in person and online, from high schoolers tackling their first AP class to college students preparing for finals.

Specialties: AP Calculus AB/BC, college Calculus 1 & 2, algebra through precalculus, Physics 1 (mechanics) and AP US History. Whether you need homework help, exam prep, or to rebuild your foundation from scratch, we'll get you there.

About the lesson

We start with a quick evaluation of where you are and what you need. Then I build a lesson plan around your goals, your class syllabus, and how you learn best.

Sessions are interactive — we work through problems together, I explain the why behind each step (not just the steps), and you leave every session with practice material and a clear plan for what to work on next. For exams (AP, midterms, finals), we drill real problems and test strategies until you're confident walking in.

The first lesson is free so we can make sure we're a good fit. Lessons are online via webcam, with flexible evening and weekend scheduling.
